Kyocera Philosophy No.70 Frugality is the top priority
Once upon a time, in a happy forest called "The Green Ribbon," lived two cute little squirrels. One was Brother Junjun, who lived up in a grand oak tree, and the other was Little Guai, who lived under a cozy pine tree.
Brother Junjun grew up so fast! Every now and then, his wardrobe would overflow with beautiful leaf coats and acorn shoes that he had outgrown. Because he adored Little Guai so much, every time he cleaned out his closet, he would generously say, "All these beautiful clothes are for my little brother, Guai!"
Seeing how generous Brother Junjun was, Little Guai’s mother, May, was filled with gratitude. Because of this, Mother May rarely needed to visit the forest market to buy new clothes for Little Guai.
One afternoon, as a gentle breeze made the leaves rustle softly, Little Guai gently tugged on Mother May's fluffy tail. He looked up and said earnestly, "Mommy, could you please ask Auntie and Brother Junjun not to send me any more clothes?"
Mother May was a bit surprised. She knelt down gently and asked, "Little Guai, why is that? Don't you like the clothes your brother gave you?"
Little Guai shook his big, fluffy tail and counted carefully on his tiny fingers, "No, it's not that. It's just that Brother Junjun has given me way too many gifts. My little tree hollow is bursting and can barely fit anything anymore. I can’t even wear them all!"

Hearing this, Mother May couldn't help but let out a soft giggle. She gently patted Little Guai's head and said warmly, "Hehe, so our Little Guai is a sweet little squirrel who knows how to cherish things and avoid waste! Having such a thrifty mind is a truly wonderful thing!"
