How is a roll of tape made? As shown in the image below, the base film of the tape can be made from various materials such as paper, PET, PO, PI, or OPP synthetic films. The base film is coated with adhesive by coating machine. The jumbo roll of tape can be added release liner or not, after further processing, the final small rolls of tape are produced.

The structure of a specialized double-sided tape can be one side with silicone adhesive and the other with acrylic adhesive, or one side with UV-release adhesive and the other with thermal release adhesive. These specialized tapes are widely used in the semiconductor and electronics industries for manufacturing processes.
