The 2024 COMPUTEX, led by the AI industry's key figure Jensen Huang, marked the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution in human history. The exhibition was a battleground for showcasing AI-related servers and electronic products, with numerous companies vying for attention. Following COMPUTEX, NVIDIA announced its plans to procure green energy in Taiwan and establish a research and development center. For semiconductor products, in addition to having low carbon emissions, being a member of RE100 requires renewable energy as the basis for production. Traditional thermal power and nuclear power do not comply with RE100's renewable energy standards. Therefore, in the context of achieving net-zero carbon emissions, only green energy can meet the requirements and provide the necessary support for major semiconductor manufacturers.

The certification standards for carbon emissions need to adhere to the ISO14064-1 regulations. Fortunately, the Taiwanese government has been assisting and guiding domestic enterprises in carbon inventory and certification for several years. Solar Plus company has completed our carbon inventory last year in 2023 and passed the ISO 14064-1 certification this May, preparing for the net-zero carbon emissions target set for 2025.
